Examples from real word using PHPOpenbiz

Hi folks, happy new year for all!!!

I'm working on a presentation to a client to show the benefits of development that provides PHPOpenbiz, but I need a small list of examples of companies that have developed their applications in PHPOpenbiz and help me win customer trust.

We're using OpenBiz within

We're using OpenBiz within my company to support the following:

  • basic needs of human resources,
  • extended patient service coordination,
  • Basic patient care management,
  • payroll verification & timetracking management (integration with QuickBooks) and
  • as UI for Visit Verification System (telephony 'punch card' for field employees).

I had issues migrating to version 2.4 - did not have time to resolve them, so we're still on 2.2.

 I'm involved in 2 PHP

 I'm involved in 2 PHP OpenBiz projects.  

One is an internal application for a small firm in the US developed on 2.3.

Another is an open source project I started and is no longer under active development called MyCamp.

 Right now we have 4

 Right now we have 4 projects running and being developed on Openbiz:

1. For a company that manages, process, and recycles waste. Openbiz helps out on managing customers and providers, route planning and daily work order management
 
2. For a real state company; Openbiz helps out for managing all rents, buildings, commercial places, and houses; from maintenance tickets to all type of leasing contracts and charging followups
 
3. For a international logistics company; Openbiz enables a public portal that enable the company publish the status of each importation/exportation process. This helps out the owners get rid of 90% of phone calls asking for the same things
 
4. For an emergency hand carry company; Openbiz helps to mange all the service in a real time information sharing solution. We manage since the customer's first contact until the courier is back hope, publishing all extra expenses, the place where the courier fiscally is until final invoicing process

FHRM is a new product using

FHRM is a new product using OrangeHRM database. We could not use the base code of OrangeHRM because the code organization of OrangeHRM is not good so we decided to develop FHRM using PHPOpenbiz based on OrangeHRM's database schemas.

FHRM developed in PHPOpenBiz 2.3, using MySQL. We intend to publish our work as open source as a way to accelerate PhpOpenbiz use but we're too busy and have not enough resource to handle this. We have never managed an open source project before. You could download the whole source code at http://fhrm.fiisoft.com/source/fhrm-latest.zip We wonder if anyone could take this job done. All are free, BSD license.
